Phase II of the roadway construction project near Magic Kingdom continues as on/off ramps are beginning to take shape. This project hopes to bring some much-needed relief to heavily congested roadways near the theme park.

With Phase I of this project completed in 2019 with the extension of Floridian Way, Phase II is slated to relieve traffic to and from Magic Kingdom and the surrounding resorts, beginning with pilings to support ramps going vertical recently.

This construction project includes ramps that are being built to connect the Car Care Center to Magic Kingdom parking exit.

Much of the construction is focused outside the Speedway station and the Car Care Center, where there are still several large piles of dirt.

These supports will be part of a grade-separated interchange. Once completed, this project is expected to help to relieve traffic and ease the mind of drivers heading down Floridian Way towards World Drive.
