PHOTOS: Surface Curing Begins on Cinderella Castle Stage at Magic Kingdom

The stage in front of Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom has been under refurbishment for several weeks now. With stage shows paused for over a year and the park’s 50th anniversary coming soon, this is probably the best time for it to receive some refreshment.

The stage is blocked from view with temporary planters and some grey scrim.

Paneling was recently completed on the stage, followed by a spray-on surfacing, which is now being cured to a new color.

A section of the stage on one side is a lighter color than the rest. There are holes and wires visible where one of the stage platforms is usually situated.

For now, the rest of the stage remains grey.
