While exploring Downtown Disney District today at Disneyland Resort, we spotted a new project in progress. Walls have gone up around the former site of The VOID. The virtual reality experience closed permanently in July 2020, though they weren’t operating at the time due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Signage was removed in October 2020 but the site had sat untouched since then.
Though no new occupant has been announced, it looks like something is afoot as construction walls have been installed.

The VOID previously featured virtual reality experiences based on Star Wars and Marvel properties here in California and at Disney Springs in Florida. However, Disney issued a license agreement breach and lease termination to The VOID. The company had defaulted on a loan and has since shuttered all locations worldwide.
