UPDATE: PhotoPass Photographers Will Take Photos of Mask-less Guests Beginning April 8

As we reported earlier, Walt Disney World will allow guests to remove face masks for distanced, outdoor photos beginning April 8. Disney has now confirmed that PhotoPass photographers will take photos of mask-less guests outdoors.

PhotoPass photographers and other Cast Members have been enforcing the rule that guests wear masks even when taking photos since the parks reopened last summer. Guests may only now remove their face masks for photos if they are stationary, physically distanced, and outdoors.

  1. Good first step. Maybe by 2022 all mask requirements will be gone and I can then make plans to return to the parks. Until that happens I will stay away; cannot enjoy Disney with strict mask requirements.

  2. Oh, gee, Disney, thank you so much for giving me back my freedom and liberty, if only for a short 30 seconds to take a photo.

  3. wow big concession….sigh….its time to get back to normal and quit letting fear-mongers known as Dems/liberals control our lives. Masks had a 15% effective rate for those who wear them all of the time or very regularly. Fraudci cannot be listened to any longer.
