SeaWorld Will Be First Orlando Theme Park to Allow Vaccinated Employees to Remove Masks

SeaWorld Orlando’s updated policy allowing vaccinated employees to go mask-free at work has all eyes on Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort.

When the major theme parks in Orlando changed their guest mask policy, allowing masks to be removed outdoors, SeaWorld was the last to make the change. Now, they’ve taken the lead in changing employee policy.

SeaWorld’s vaccinated staff will wear stickers indicating their vaccination status and must show proof of vaccination to qualify.

It’s unclear if this will prompt Disney and Universal to follow suit, and neither resort has commented on the possibility of another policy change. The two major players don’t usually mimic SeaWorld, but management at both resorts will likely be keeping an eye on the situation.
