Jeff Vahle, President of Walt Disney World Resort, revealed via Instagram the new Cast Member nametag design celebrating the resort’s 50th anniversary, which was announced earlier this month.
The new nametag features the 50th anniversary Cinderella Castle logo and an outline of EARidescent gold. It will debut this fall with the beginning of “The World’s Most Magical Celebration.”
Disney Parks Blog shared photos and video of Cast Members reacting to the new nametags.
Brett Owens, a graphic designer with Disney Live Entertainment, said, “Designing this nametag meant a lot because it allowed me to think of every single person who will be receiving one for the 50th anniversary celebration. Our team really wanted to create a special way to say, ‘Thank you!’ to the cast, as well as give them something to have as a reminder they were here for this special time in our history.”
Walt Disney World has had multiple nametag designs over the years, as Cast Member Laurel shows with her collection.

Disneyland Resort Cast Members also got a new nametag this year celebrating the resort’s reopening after being closed for over a year.
