Two months after closing for refurbishment, the Main Street Confectionery in Magic Kingdom now has construction walls up around some of it.

The walls extend from the window with Daisy Duck almost to the Main Street Cinema, which is “now showing” sweets and treats while the Confectionery remains closed.

The Confectionery was scheduled to be closed for at least two months, but that was as far out as the Walt Disney World calendar went at the time. The calendar now indicates it will be closed through at least July 24, but we know it will extend through the summer.

There was a wet paint sign in front of Daisy’s window, indicating the construction walls are probably just blocking a paint update.

The windows of the Confectionery are all blocked so we can’t see what’s happening inside.

The Chapeau, connected to the Confectionery, is also currently closed. Keep checking WDWNT for updates.
