Hiii-ya! The DreamWorks Theater has opened at Universal Studios Hollywood featuring the Kung Fu Panda Adventure show! This show takes you on a journey with Po, the Kung Fu Panda, and his crazy adventures.
This show replaced Shrek 4-D which closed in 2017.
Homages to Shrek still linger around the queue.
Physical distancing markers line the queue.
The walls on the outside queue feature the three most famous movies from DreamWorks: How to Train Your Dragon, Kung Fu Panda, and Shrek.
Before entering the building, a team member will spray your hands with hand sanitizer.
The halls of the queue are lined with other DreamWorks film posters.
This hallway leads into a preshow room.
The preshow is currently not running and we were ushered straight into the auditorium.
The theater is currently sitting 2 seats between groups but seating every row.
The theater uses projections to decorate the theater walls.
This show is a water journey with Po, Master Shifu, and Mr. Ping.
Currently there are few water effects, but the seats do move throughout the entirety of the show.
The entire auditorium comes to life towards the end of the show.
The end of the show features Po throwing a mallet into the wall. Here you can see it stuck as guests leave the theater.
