PHOTOS: Barriers Set Up Around Fountain in Morocco Pavilion as Refurbishment Continues at EPCOT
The Morocco Pavilion at EPCOT has been home to many projects since Disney took over operations last winter. From architectural redesigns to revamped menus, Disney has been making changes left and right. Today, a large portion of the entrance plaza, including the large fountain, has been blocked off by planters.
There is a small path open for guests to access the rest of the pavilion.
Disney often uses planters for shorter construction projects. Unlike the Morocco restrooms, which are still closed, this project should be completed relatively quickly.
The Kidcot station is open, but there were no Cast Members present when we peeked in.
The planters continue all around the fountain plaza.
Disney doesn’t use planters for confidential projects, for obvious reasons.
Large construction equipment and materials were staged around the fountain, but no crews were active on the site.
