After a long year, Disneyland Resort reopened on April 30th. Over in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure, Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree reopened with COVID-19 safety measures in place.
Outside the entrance to the queue, hand sanitizer is available for guest use.
Dad gum, we are excited to be back!
There was only a five minute wait, how could we not hop on?
Physical distancing markers are spread six feet apart throughout the queue.
Everything seems to have gotten a touch up, because it’s looking bright and shiny.
Physical distancing markers are alternated in the queue to maintain the six-foot distance on all sides.
At the load area, circular markers are used to show guests where to stand and wait.
These markers share the same theming as the others around Disney California Adventure.
The tractors are raring to go. There’s no plexiglass in the queue or on the ride vehicles.
Seating is one party per vehicle, which was already in effect with these low-capacity tractor-trailers.
