Following the reopening of Disneyland Park, we are checking in on all of our favorite attractions. Today we visited Pirates of the Caribbean in New Orleans Square as it reopens with new health and safety measures in place.

A sight that every Disney park visitor has to be used to by now, these physical distancing markers divide up the queue to make a distance of at least six feet between parties.

Hello, old friend.

Cast Members queue parties up outside before letting them walk into the show building. Once inside, the wait is minimal and is essentially a walk-on experience. This is done in an attempt to keep guests separated and outdoors as much as possible.

Plexiglass dividers are used throughout the queue, as is commonplace throughout the park now.

Plexiglass dividers aren’t in place on the boats themselves, but physical distancing is required. Parties are boarded onto boats with at least two empty rows between each group.

Blue Bayou Restaurant has not reopened to the public yet; a lonely Cast Member was the only person we could see across the way.

The Pirates of the Caribbean attraction itself is largely unchanged, but everything looked great.

The organ is back! The white organ pictured above had been missing from the attraction for several months prior to the closure of Disneyland. Now it has returned, and the “ghost-playing” of the keys is back as well.

Maybe one day the dog will go after the bone. Nah.
