Disneyland Resort has announced reopening dates and reservation availability dates for the following restaurants.
- Paradise Garden Grill (opening May 13)
- Alfresco Tasting Terrace (opening May 20 exclusively for Legacy Passholders and their guests; online reservations available May 18)
- Blue Bayou Restaurant (opening May 27; online reservations available May 18)
- Napa Rose (opening May 28 – dinner only; online reservations available May 18)
- Storytellers Café (opening May 28 – breakfast and dinner – no characters; online reservations available May 18)
- GCH Craftsman Bar (Online reservations will be available May 28)
I hope Carthay Circle Restaurant reopens soon as well.
Anyone know what time one can make reservations when they open? For instance Blue Bayou on May 18th? I’ve seen 3am PST on some sites, but nothing confirmed.
I’ve been trying to find out too, with no luck. But under normal circumstances (pre-COVID when they had the rolling 30- or 60-day calendar) I believe it was 6am ET for WDW, and 7am PT for Disneyland. I’m hoping that still holds true and I’ll be ready to go just before 7 tomorrow (would love to do Blue Bayou for my birthday in a couple weeks!)
I am having the same issue! I cannot figure out how to make reservations at the blue bayou. I’ve been online trying to be the first person to swoop up on a res there and somehow they book up before I get a chance to. I’ve tried right at midnight and every other hour on the hour thereafter to no avail. Pulled all nighters refreshing the screen over and over again… Tried this morning at 3am ON THE DOT and they were already full???? I’m having an extremely negative experience trying to figure this out and there are no clear directions anywhere on when/how EXACTLY to get in. It’s outrageous! It’s like they purposely don’t want everybody to know how to do it. I’ve also tried to call and their cast members don’t even know. They’re 100% clueless on how it works. And, of course, they cannot help you with a reservation over the phone… They’ll tell you it has to be done either online or on the app. Also, blue bayou is not accepting walk in reservations like it says it does on the app. I was just at Disneyland on June 3 2021 – physically walked up to the blue Bayou, talked to the host, and was advised that they have been booking up instantly and DO NOT accept walkins.
I can’t figure out when we can make reservations! I’ve been trying all morning for Napa Rose for June or July but everything still says the restaurant is unavailable. Anyone have any luck?
