Voodoo Doughnut in Universal Orlando CityWalk has a unique new treat. Universal promised us a churro stand and here it is: the Churro Stand Doughnut. This doughnut is available May 15 through August 9, but Universal Orlando Annual Passholders got a sneak peek today.
Churro Stand Doughnut – $3.75
This is a round, fluffy fried shell with dulce de leche filling.
The outside of the doughnut is covered in cinnamon and sugar, making it sweet but not overly so.
It gave us fall vibes, despite the fact that we’re eating it in late spring.
The filling is heavy and dense with a nice dulce de leche flavor. Again, it isn’t too sweet, which is a nice change from some of the donuts covered in icing.
This was a delicious doughnut and, frankly, better than a churro.
