With Jurassic World VelociCoaster welcoming some guests ahead of its grand opening, new food and beverage items are cropping up throughout Jurassic Park in Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
We tried the Isla Nublar IPA this morning, then swung by Thunder Falls Terrace for their “prehistoric” wings.
A Prehistoric Wing Combo including a milkshake is available for $18.99, but we opted for the platter only.
Prehistoric Wing Platter – $15.49
Char grilled chicken wings marinated with olive & spices then tossed in a sweet chili sauce served with cilantro lime rice, black beans, and a plantain chip
The chicken in this platter was delicious. It was tender and juicy, and slid right off the bone.
We couldn’t really taste the sweet chili sauce, although we could see it and the chili flakes on the chicken.
It had a slightly smoky taste and was well-seasoned, but not at all spicy. There were four big pieces of chicken.
The rice and beans on the side were good, but nothing stand out.
We highly recommend this dish for anyone visiting Jurassic Park.
