Walt Disney World has debuted a commercial for the resort’s 50th anniversary and “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” beginning October 1, 2021. Watch it below:

The commercial features a version of Aladdin‘s “A Whole New World” playing in the background. Pixie dust lights up each theme park icon as a “Beacon of Magic” and flies around families while the “magic calls” to them.

In the commercial, Disney magic lives in a secret room tucked away inside Cinderella Castle. There’s so much magic in this room, it can’t be contained and is ready to burst through! Along with an EARidescent magic-filled “50th Anniversary” cabinet, this special room also contains a variety of artifacts from beloved Disney stories, characters and attractions.

What are you most excited to see during “The World’s Most Magical Celebration”? Let us know in the comments.

  1. Magic? Please tell me what’s magical about virtual queues, no fast pass, hard to reserve resort rooms? Bob Iger sounds more like a dictator than an executive chairman of WD Corp. If it’s like that come late next year, I’m going to UNIVERSAL.

    • Fast passes actually make wait times longer, virtual ques mean you don’t need to waste 3 hours standing in line for flight of passage and resort rooms are only difficult to reserve for peak times as always or if you’re looking to book too close to your trip…. honestly? I love the idea of virtual ques they work great for rise of the resistance and in universal, universal also doesn’t have ‘fast passes’ they only have express passes which are more expensive per day then the price of your actual ticket to enter and universal has fewer on property resorts total than Disney has resorts that are currently operating with covid restrictions. All the reasons you want to leave Disney for universal are the things that are the norm in universal

    • I agree without fp I will not go b. No fp does not make Your wait times longer. Only if u didnt make them which anyone can when they bring it b. The most I ever waited for a ride was 15-20 min in fp line. I will not ever spend my vacation waiting in queues . But if U like spending half your day in line more power to ya !!!

  2. i’d like to see a video retrospective of the Park on disney+, especially as i’m not likely to get back down there for another couple of years

  3. Too bad the magic wasn’t powerful enough to fix the very noticeable burned out lightbulbs on the Main Street roofs.
