Citizens of Buena Vista Street Return to Disney California Adventure While More Live Entertainment Options Prepare to Return to the Disneyland Resort

The latest update from the Disneyland Resort is music to our ears! As Disneyland and Disney California Adventure continue to reopen its many offerings after being closed for over a year, more live entertainment is preparing to return, according to The Orange County Register‘s Brady MacDonald.

In addition to tomorrow’s return of the Disneyland Band, MacDonald reports that the Citizens of Buena Vista Street are back entertaining guests at Disney California Adventure. Even more entertainment options already preparing to return to the parks. Five & Dime, along with the Pearly Band and the Main Street U.S.A. piano player in Disneyland were specifically mentioned as coming back “soon.”

For other shows, the future still remains murky. The casts of “Frozen: Live at the Hyperion” and “Mickey and the Magical Map” were laid off last October in the midst of the shutdown, suggesting that large performances aren’t coming back anytime soon. In the meantime, smaller stage shows like Disney Junior Dance Party and the offerings at Disneyland’s Royal Theater are expected to return quicker, though no official return has been announced. Still, all these performers returning shows that the magic is coming back to the Disneyland Resort.
