In the announcement from Disney Parks Blog that “Harmonious” would debut at EPCOT on October 1 this year, Disney shared a new photo of the nighttime spectacular.
The photo shows all of the barges in action with water, light, and projection effects. We’ve seen many of these features testing during the day, but they make a much more striking visual at nighttime.
During the day, the barges will stay in World Showcase Lagoon to act as a fountain.

I know I am incredibly biased. I hope that photo isn’t doing justice to how it v will look in person, cause that’s just a hot mess of water, lights and what apperas to be an alien in the Stargate. It is almost exactly what my hair looks like in the morning when I have colored it in fun colors.
It better be good since we’ll have those things 24/7 in the lake . And we gave up a great show for it. As for the fountains during the day…yea. Florida never has high winds, maybe it’s a plot to sell overpriced Disney rainwear?
That nighttime photo looks amazing, which does not change the fact that it’s a huge mistake to leave the eyesores, oops(!) I meant barges, in the middle of the lagoon during the day . . .
It looks not great – They tested it about a week ago for two nights in a row (past- midnight). Not sure exactly of the final look but it is certainly more kid oriented than was illuminations reflections of earth.
That looks pretty amazing.
all the naysayers who continuously trashed harmonious in their vlogs & blogs , calling it an eyesore, tacos , not fitting in world showcase, WILL be the first ones on opening day praising what a great job imagineers did, what a marvelous achievement.
It still ruins the lagoon
