PHOTO REPORT: Magic Kingdom 6/14/21 (Dapper Dans Celebrate Flag Day, New “it’s a small world” Dooney & Bourke Bags Arrive, Porte-Cochére Raised At The Polynesian, and More)

Hello from a hot but beautiful day here at the Magic Kingdom! We had a quiet day here, but we still found a few things to share with you. Let’s get started!

The installation of the blue netting across the illuminated canopy of TRON Lightcycle / Run is moving along quickly, with more netting staged on the ground ready to go.

On the Jungle Cruise, the “Trapped Safari” scene animatronics were not functioning today.

The last remaining piece of the “Native Celebration” scene, these drummer animatronics, were still not operating, as they have not been since most of this scene was removed.

On Main Street, USA, the Dapper Dans were wearing patriotic outfits and included a patriotic themed medley in their set today in honor of Flag Day.

In merchandise news, we found this “Raiders of the Lost Ark 40 Years” shirt in the MaDe kiosk in Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. This shirt is customizable and starts at $29.99.

The “it’s a small world” Dooney & Bourke collection debuted today at Uptown Jewelers. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.

Nearby at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, the porte-cochére roof has been lifted onto the cement supports standing by. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.

We found a new Peach Melba Cupcake at the Roaring Fork at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. We really appreciated the break from traditional frosting-laden cupcakes with this peach topped cake. Check out our full review!

We had a wonderful time at the Magic Kingdom, and we hope you enjoyed coming along with us. Have a magical day!
