Tusker House Restaurant is set to reopen on June 20th at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Bookings will open this Friday, June 4th. The character dining venue has been closed since last March.

Rather than a buffet, Tusker House will serve family-style meals inspired by the flavors of Africa. Hours and menus have not been announced at this time, but a sneak peek at the meals can be seen in the photos below, including breakfast and lunch/dinner.

Guests will be joined by Donald Duck and friends, dressed in safari outfits and ready for adventure.

Tusker House is not the first character dining venue to return, as Chef Mickey’s and Topolino’s Terrace have both been in operation. Tusker House Restaurant is likely to be similar.

so no more buffet. wont be going there. is it still no hugging characters too. Bummer of an update.
Yeah what a shame! Now people won’t be able to cough and sneeze all over my food!
Right because everyone is always coughing and sneezing at the buffet.
So where will you go? There are no buffers in Disney right now. But it is all you care to eat. Just ask and they bring more
Does this mean no more buffet?
Yes
I do not understand why Disney is not reopening all buffets as buffets. Many buffets around the country are open and there seems to be no problem with it. When you want to be more woke than anybody else…
Just have the cast members serve behind the buffet. Many resorts are doing this and it’s very successful!
