The classic Castle Dream Lights will not be illuminating Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom this year.
The lights, which gave the castle the illusion of being covered in snow and icicles, are not listed among Walt Disney World’s other holiday offerings.
Instead, Cinderella Castle will become a “Beacon of Magic” for the park’s 50th anniversary. The “Beacon of Magic” lights will alternate periodically with holiday projections on not only Cinderella Castle, but also on The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Tree of Life. Spaceship Earth will also become a “Beacon of Magic”, but will not alternate with holiday projections.

Yet another casualty created by Disney as a result of COVID/shutdowns. Pathetic.
I’m so beyond disney at this point
Yet here you are on a Disney news site…
The Dream Lights are what truly makes each night Winter Perfect. For me this is a major disappointment
Its sad that Disney has been more concerned about projects around the world I stead of concentrating on The Most Magical Place On Earth. Instead we get new lights and paint which are well over due
Love it! I hate the icicle lights. Hope they never bring them back!
Agreed. These look terrible during the day.
Bring back the Main Street Electrical Parade!
