The lights, which gave the castle the illusion of being covered in snow and icicles, are not listed among Walt Disney World’s other holiday offerings.

In this artist rendering, Cinderella Castle becomes a Beacon of Magic in Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. As part of “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” honoring Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th anniversary beginning Oct. 1, 2021, the castle and other icons at each Walt Disney World theme park will come to life at night with their own EARidescent glow. Instead, Cinderella Castle will become a “Beacon of Magic” for the park’s 50th anniversary. The “Beacon of Magic” lights will alternate periodically with holiday projections on not only Cinderella Castle, but also on The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Tree of Life. Spaceship Earth will also become a “Beacon of Magic”, but will not alternate with holiday projections.

  1. The Dream Lights are what truly makes each night Winter Perfect. For me this is a major disappointment

  2. Its sad that Disney has been more concerned about projects around the world I stead of concentrating on The Most Magical Place On Earth. Instead we get new lights and paint which are well over due
