Bell Services No Longer Able to Transfer Perishable Items Between Resorts for Guests at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels

A new policy at Walt Disney World requires guests with split stays (switching from one Walt Disney World Resort Hotel to another mid-vacation) to transfer their own perishable items to and from resorts, a service Bell Services had previously offered.

One perk guests can enjoy is the complimentary transfer of their luggage from one resort to another while on a split stay. This service is still available; however, as of July 17, planDisney states that “Bell Services cannot transfer perishable items, so those will need to also go with you.”

Many guests previously had Bell Services transfer their food items between resorts, but this will no longer be an option. It will be the responsibility of the guest to make other arrangements for the transfer of perishable goods.

  1. If you are staying in the same hotel and only switching rooms will they still hold refrigerated items for you. I don’t mean only food I mean meds that may need to be refrigerated ?

  2. This is awful news. I already have a split stay booked for Sept that will require transfer of some perishables. Another service reduction by Disney!

  3. Do you know if Bell Services can hold perishable items after we check out for the day, go to a park, and then we pick up at our first hotel and then transfer ourselves as we go to our new hotel?
