PHOTO REPORT: EPCOT 7/27/21 (New Construction Walls Surround SSE West Restroom, Port of Entry Door Refurbishment Begins, New Mary Poppins Mug Arrives, and More)
Hello from a grey and muggy EPCOT! Even though it was a little wet today, the overcast skies brought a slight drop in temperature, which was quite welcome. We found some things to show you around the park, so let’s get started!
New construction walls have gone up around the Spaceship Earth West Restrooms and Lockers. The Restrooms on the East side are still available, and the Lockers are still accessible through an entrance at the rear of the building.
All four doors at Port of Entry are having the top section stripped of paint, as we saw done to Disney Traders a few months ago. A gel stripper has been applied to the surface and then wrapped in plastic to cure while protecting guests and the surfaces below from it dripping on them.
The area between the Morocco Pavilion and the France Pavilion, which previously housed a Festival food booth during the Flower & Garden Festival, has been blocked off by planters. We saw the empty booth removed early last week and that immediate area blocked off from guests, but now this entire area is blocked from view.
Moving on to merchandise, we found a new hat featuring Mickey Mouse, the “Authentic & Original” at Mouse Gear for $27.99.
Also at Mouse Gear, we found this “Fierce” new youth mini backpack featuring the Princesses’ silhouettes for $29.99.
We found a late-comer to the Festival merchandise with this new stemmed wine glass featuring this year’s Food & Wine Festival artwork for $14.99.
While visiting the United Kingdom Pavilion, we found this new Mary Poppins mug featuring the phrase “There’s the whole world at your feet” at The Tea Caddy for $19.99.
We had a wonderful time at EPCOT, and we hope you enjoyed coming along with us. Have a magical day!
