Hello from a very hot day at Walt Disney World! With a heat index over 100 degrees, we were certainly feeling the weather a little extra today as we took a look for all the new things at the parks. We started our day at the Magic Kingdom, and we found some things to show you, so let’s get started!

As we have seen several times before, all of the trams in the parking lot at the Transportation and Ticket Center had their flashing lights on this morning. Today, a Cast Member was seen removing the windshield visor and getting into the cab of one of them. Unfortunately despite this movement, we still do not have a return date for the parking lot trams.

Inside the park, a small but visible bit of progress has been made on the refurbishment of The Confectionery. Black construction paper has been added to the wall in the alcove at this entrance.

All but two of the remaining keyhole tap points at the now-defunct Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom portal locations have now been removed.

With the seeming completion of the reentry point to the illuminated canopy at the construction site for TRON Lightcycle / Run, the scaffolding outside of this area is now being removed.

Blue netting is now installed across most of the illuminated canopy, and today we saw a construction worker walking and jumping on the netting, which we have not seen before. He was safely rigged in case the net failed, but it was interesting to see him at work.

Additional scaffolding has been installed as work continues on the repainting of the facade of Be Our Guest Restaurant. During this process, and since the first scaffolding went up, the waterfall has been off.

The office in the Jungle Cruise queue has been emptied of all props and is now quite bare, with just an empty desk and chair. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.

Moving on to merchandise, we found a new addition to the summer accessories collection available for nuiMOs with this little yellow tent, available at The Emporium for $17.99.

We found four new mugs today, all available at The Emporium for $14.99 each.

Our favorite find at the Magic Kingdom was this spectacular Casey’s Corner dress by The Dress Shop. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.

After finishing up at the Magic Kingdom, we headed to Disney Springs to see what new things we could find there. We found that the construction walls had been removed from Splitsville Luxury Lanes, revealing fresh pavement.

AMC Theaters was all decked out for the premier of “Black Widow” today. A “red carpet” featuring the Black Widow logo and a photo op wall were on hand for guests to enjoy as they came to see the movie or enjoy Disney Springs.

We found another new photo opportunity at the Marketplace Co-Op with this digital photo board for Disney Cruise Line.

While we were at Disney Springs, we stopped by D-Luxe Burger to try their new limited time Black Widow Burger and Black Widow Shake. For more pictures and information, including our full review, check out our article here.

We found three new open edition pins featuring three Disney resorts today at Pin Traders. For more pictures and information on these three, check out our article here.

While at Pin Traders, we found a new PatcheD design featuring “Baby Yoda” Grogu from “The Mandalorian” for $9.99.

Nearby at the Marketplace Co-Op, we found the pet Spirit Jersey version of the popular new mint color trend for $39.99.

We found two new hats at World of Disney, one featuring Cheshire Cat and one featuring Rafiki, and both retailing for $27.99 each.

Two Monsters University designs caught our eye, starting with this youth shirt, which retails for $19.99.

The second was this youth hooded sweatshirt for $34.99.

While at World of Disney, we found a fun new light up youth petticoat, perfect for adding a little sparkle to a favorite princess dress. This petticoat retails for $29.99.

Last but not least, we found these animal print hidden Mickey crocs at World of Disney. While these were release a little while ago, they have been quite popular, and we were never able to catch them while they were in stock. We are happy to report that there was a plentiful supply in all sizes available for $59.99 at World of Disney today.

We had a wonderful time at Walt Disney World, and we hope you enjoyed coming along with us. Have a magical day!
