Welcome to another beautiful day here at the Universal Orlando Resort. It’s a hot day today, but we’re ready for a busy day in the parks.
If you sleep in, be prepared for the lines to get through security.
The lines to get into Universal Studios Florida are long today. These moved a lot quicker than the lines for security!
Cabbie and his taxi cab have moved up to the front of the park. The cabbies are so much fun to interact with, so make sure you stop and say hi.
The family is gone. The Fast and Furious photo op and car for F9 have been removed.
The spinning part of the KidZone sign has been missing, but we’re hopeful it will be back soon. We spotted a few techs looking at the sign.
Signs with times for the DreamWorks Destination are now on display outside the entrance.
Inside the MIB Gear Shop, there’s a new shirt. This shirt says “I’m not from around here” and has silhouettes of MIB agents and aliens.
Badtz-Maru has taken over the Hello Kitty Shop. Honestly, everywhere you look in the store, you will see a Badtz-Maru plush.
This is what the park looks like when it’s hot and crowded.
It’s so hot today! Everyone is looking for a way to cool off. Misting stations around the park are popular, especially this one near Animal Actors On Location.
Halloween Horror Nights is approaching quickly! There are several structures around the park that look like they will be used for Halloween Horror Nights 2021. We’ve spotted quite a lot of prep around the park and even a facade for one of the unannounced houses.
Krusty was out meeting guests in Springfield. You can get a lot closer to characters at the meet and greets now.
Fans of pressed pennies should check out the new Fast and Furious machine at the exit of the attraction. You can take a closer look at the new designs here.
Wand pens recently arrived at the Universal Studios Store, and now you can find a pen and bookmark for Lucius Malfoy. Check out the rest of the collection here.
A new shirt is available for Skull Island Reign of Kong, featuring the many expressions of Kong.
It’s a beautiful day for a ride on the trolley in Seuss Landing. The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride has a 45 minute wait. Totally worth it!
One of the Sneetches is missing from the water. There have been three of them chilling out in the lagoon for a while, but now there are only two.
The Mystic Fountain is helping to cool everyone off. The water feels great on a hot day like today.
Another busy day in the Wizarding World. It seems like a lot of people are struggling to figure out how to use the new Virtual Line for Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure.
We’ve been hearing that the new Virtual Line process for Hagrid’s will be sticking around a lot longer than the testing period. You need to scan the QR code and sign up rather than using the Universal Orlando app. More information on the process can be found here. There is also no single rider line available at this time.
Making our way towards Jurassic Park through the crowds. We should have taken the bypass bridge to avoid this situation. At least the entrance arch looks nice.
Only a 45 minute wait for VelociCoaster! It’s a very busy day in the park, but it’s great to see the newest ride with a low wait time.
We found a hidden Mosasaurus rock in Jurassic Park. There are craft groups that make and hide crafts around the parks, and we have been lucky enough to find a few treasures like this.
