Welcome to another beautiful, hot summer day here at the Universal Orlando Resort. The sun is shining and the crowds are out and ready to enjoy the parks. Let’s make our way into Universal Studios Florida first and see what’s new.
As soon as we entered the park, we would see a large structure set up between Shrek 4D and Despicable Me Minion Mayhem. It looks like more Halloween Horror Nights prep has started over here.
Despicable Me Minion Mayhem had a 125 minute wait when we arrived today. Mondays have been very busy lately.
We were excited to find that the Summer Bites food stand in Battery Park is open today. We noticed them getting ready to reopen over the weekend and we’ve been really looking forward to enjoying some corn again! We grabbed a Beef Picadillo Arepa and Esquites Asados for lunch. You can read our full review of the menu here.
We noticed that Bruce’s teeth were looking really bad recently, but they’ve been repaired and are looking much better now!
Diagon Alley is crowded as usual. Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts had a 130 minute wait when we walked by this afternoon.
It’s so hot and humid today. Everyone is looking for a cool, shady spot to hang out. Knockturn Alley was packed with people looking for a little break from the afternoon sun.
The parks got more and more crowded throughout the day. Lines for restaurants and snack stands were really long late in the afternoon.
Pumpkin spice season is right around the corner. You can pick up this Hello Kitty Pumpkin Spice Latte Loungefly bag at Islands of Adventure Trading Company. Take a closer look in our post here.
Lots of people are just laying around in the shade.
If you find a good spot to kick back and chill, go for it.
Everyone is just looking for a way to relax and recharge today.
The Mystic Fountain is helping everyone cool off today. Guests of all ages are splashing around in the water.
The line for the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine in the Burger Digs is always long. Every time we walk through the restaurant, we’re always amazed at the line for the machines.
One of the VelociCoaster shirts that was originally a ringer tee is now solid white. You can still find a few of the ringer tees in some of the gift shops, though.
Another busy day at Islands of Adventure. Wait times were high around the park. Skull Island Reign of Kong had a 90 minute wait.
For some reason, we always see strange things like this in Marvel Super Hero Island.
That’s all for this visit to the Universal Orlando Resort. Thanks for joining us around the parks today. We’ll be back again soon, so make sure to keep following Universal Parks News Today for more updates!
