Fireworks are returning to Disneyland Resort on July 4. Mickey’s Mix Magic will return to Disneyland Park for the first time since March 2020. Before reintroducing guests to the nighttime spectacular, Disney must test the show. Here’s what we saw during the June 30 test:
Crowds gathered in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, excited to see the first nighttime spectacular at Disneyland Resort in over a year.
The sky was alight with pyrotechnics, spotlights, and lasers.
Mickey and many other beloved Disney characters are projected onto Sleeping Beauty Castle during the show.
Cast Members were all smiles after the show.

TBH, I don’t like the music for this show. It’s just not magical at all. But then again, club music is not my thing. I hope they change it to Magical, Fantasy in the Sky, or some other show soon. The projections look nice though.
