As Jungle Cruise at Magic Kingdom is refurbished to remove culturally insensitive elements, new scenes and elements are being added. Guests can now see chimpanzees playing with butterflies and taking over a partially-sunken boat.
This comes immediately after the hippo scene and the boat is the other half of the sunken boat seen moments earlier. It belonged to the party of explorers now trapped by a rhino.
The chimpanzees are grinning at guests as they destroy the boat they’ve found.
The chimp in the back is enjoying some fruits and vegetables.
One chimp is having fun trying to steer.
In the next scene, two chimps are playing in a pile of crates.
One is covered in butterflies, while the other holds a butterfly net.
It looks like the butterflies have escaped from the crate that says “live insects.”
The butterflies belong to Dr. Kon Chunosuke, the entomologist in the trapped safari.

seeing chimps on a sinking boat offends me. i demand disney immediately remove it.
More Disney woke garbage!
I rather like the new “cap sizing” joke.
Chimpanzees looting a boat is not very sensitive.
