REVIEW: Casey’s Corner Delivers Classic, But Basic Ballpark Food in Magic Kingdom

The iconic Casey’s Corner has now officially reopened for guests to dine on classic ballpark food once more. We tried out a few menu items to see how they compared to our previous experiences.

Chili-Cheese All-Beef Hot Dog – $11.49

The hot dog itself is the same generous portion available across the park.

The chili appears to be an all-meat, finely ground topping, but does not add as much flavor as we hoped.

The cheese topping is shredded cheddar, which melted nicely into the chili.

Overall, this is a decent chili-cheese dog and a generous portion, but nothing too extraordinary in taste. Still, good basic park food if that is what you’re after.

Side of French Fries (Included)

Casey's Corner french fries

The fries are narrow-cut and not too heavily salted, which is great in the heat when you are already dehydrated. These are great basic fries. Well cooked, but not overdone.

Baseball Brownie – $4.29

The brownie is moist, but not as fudge-filled as it appears from the outside.

The frosting on top is very sweet and makes up for about 1/4 of the height of the brownie.

Overall, it’s still a good sugar kick after a salty meal.

Overall, none of these menu items stood out to us. They still seem like the basic theme (or ball) park food. If you want comfort food, or are looking to please kids and picky eaters, you can’t go wrong here. However, we would get these again only if there were no other food options available at the time.

Will you be trying any of these items on your next visit to the Magic Kingdom? Let us know in the comments below.

  1. I feel like you guys do nothing but post negative reviews on everything anymore. You make me upset reading your “articles” about the happiest place on earth.

  2. I think you’re just over-critical. Ever since covid hit you’ve had basically all negative reviews about the parks. The food at Casey’s is great. Get off your high horse. People will go and do or eat things at a disney park regardless of how much you bash them

  3. Last time I ate at Casey’s was in 2014 on our trip there and the dogs were not that great. They tasted more like wieners (usually made of pork & beef) rather than a 100% beef dog which tome is the only true hot dog.
A couple other reviews from YouTubers basically gave it an “ok” review as yours did. And this is where often Disney falls short in themepark food.
Casey’s should be a standout almost destination place for great hot dogs in the MK, more akin to places like Pink’s. Instead it’s just the same mediocre hot dogs.

  4. I love Casey’s Corner as a baseball fan and hot dog eater. The food is comfort food plain and simple. You either like it or you don’t, plus compared to other foods at MK and for that matter, all of WDWW, it’s cheaper, especially if it’s your last meal on your WDW trip before heading back to your car or hotel.

  5. I love Casey’s, The theming , the backstory , the whole act by the CMs there, but when it comes to food, i think its Not good, I ate the chilli cheese footlong, spent most of my evening “destroying” the Adventureland & frontierland bathrooms. i guess better out than in .
