REVIEW: Prince Eric’s Village Market Reopens With Delicious Mermaid Slushy at Magic Kingdom

Prince Eric’s Village Market has reopened at Magic Kingdom. This small food stand can be found across from Under the Sea – Journey of The Little Mermaid in Fantasyland.

In addition to turkey legs, jumbo pretzels, and other treats, this market has the new Mermaid Slushy. The slushy was announced in February 2020 but ultimately did not debut before the parks closed in March. It’s finally arrived, but it looks a little different than the preview.

The slushy teased in 2020 (and currently pictured on the official Disney website) is blue and purple. The slushy that has debuted at Prince Eric’s Village Market is blue raspberry and green apple.

The green apple is super tart, while the blue raspberry is sweet and tastes like fruit candy.

We recommend grabbing a spoon and mixing the slush together, including the whipped cream. It may not look as pretty, but the flavors work really well together!

The sweet blue raspberry tones down the tart apple, and the whipped cream adds a creamy vanilla undertone.

The mermaid tail is dyed white chocolate, which is a nice treat before the rest of the slushy.

This was a refreshing snack, and we would definitely get it again.
