The ferry boats that shuttle guests between the Transportation and Tickets Center and Magic Kingdom see quite a bit of traffic every day. One of the three ferries, the Admiral Joe Fowler, was seen parked at the dock receiving some maintenance work. Let’s take a look.

Heading down the ramp towards the dock, we noticed new stickers had been installed.

The ferry sits parked at the dock as work is being done. The front railing is blocked off with a wooden temporary wall, draped in a cloth.

The old paint on the corner post and at other junctures appears to be stripped off for repainting.

Seen from the other side, it appears that the paint has been stripped here as well.

Whereas the other side still had the metal mesh grating installed inside the fence frame, this side has the mesh entirely removed. The metal is stripped bare, and the end caps of the frame’s bars are removed.
