EPCOT’s World Celebration neighborhood is the park’s construction hotspot. Work continues on the upcoming Creations Shop, Club Cool, Starbucks, and quick-service locations. Outside the constructions walls, landscaping has been cleared from an area between Mouse Gear and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
The area has been cleared of all landscaping with the exception of a line of trees. Grass was previously planted in this area.
Small, green boxes have been added. These likely mark the location of utility connections.
The monorail line passes directly above the cleared area.
The area is just outside the Mouse Gear exit.
A few rows of trees is the remaining greenery. Lighting fixtures remain along the perimeter.
