Walt Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley just gave us our first look at the entrance to EPCOT’s new Club Cool, but the World Celebration neighborhood still has plenty of construction to be done. Club Cool and Creations Shop are set to open by the end of the summer, while the adjacent quick-service restaurant and Starbucks will open at a later date.
The underside of the roof overhang at what was once Innoventions has been completely ripped out where the restaurant will be.
Scaffolding and tarp now hide the corner of the building, though the tarp is probably just to keep workers safe from the weather.
We’ve already seen with Creations Shop that the overhang paneling will be replaced and repainted.
Some of the paneling has been in desperate need of replacement, as seen by the dents on top.
Crew Members were working on the overhang when we stopped by.
Though most of this wall has been covered with windows, steel sticks out above where future doorways may be.
