Though Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure won’t open to the general public until October 1, Cast Members, Annual Passholders, D23 Gold Members, and Disney Vacation Club Members are all getting the opportunity to preview the attraction. Join us for a “squeak peek” of EPCOT’s France Pavilion expansion and the ride itself.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure was originally scheduled to open last summer, but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The first section of the expansion has actually been open for some time now, giving guests access to the pavilion’s brand-new bathrooms.
There are little touches of Ratatouille throughout the expansion, including an image of Remy sailing through the sewer on this manhole cover.
There is an exterior covered queue for the ride.
The street is lined with faux shops, including this patisserie.
Unfortunately, this hotel isn’t real either.
While none of these façades are real, La Crêperie de Paris is and will be opening alongside Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure on October 1.
Check out the menu for La Crêperie de Paris.
This merchandise cart will also open with the attraction.
Guests can still see the pavilion’s Eiffel Tower from the expansion.
Just like in Disneyland Paris, there is a Ratatouille-themed fountain outside the attraction’s entrance. This one was built larger to avoid the spillage the original experiences daily.
The sign for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is lined with gold, so it stands out even during a rainy day.
Second-story windows have planters, and this corner hides a scooter that is sure to make a great photo-op.
Though there is a FastPass+ entrance, we now know that FastPass+ will be replaced with Genie+ and Lightning Lane. The ride also has standby and single rider entrances, but it will only use a virtual queue upon opening.
Inside, there are posters for Remy and Linguini.
The queue takes guests through the rooftops of Paris, where they pass the illuminated Gusteau’s sign.
Just like Remy did at the beginning of Ratatouille, guests will take a peek inside some Parisian apartments. Here is an artist’s studio.
After taking in all of the little details, it’s time to actually ride Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.
This ride “shrinks” you down to the size of a rat, so you can see things from Remy’s point of view.
You’ll zip through the kitchen and fridge of Gusteau’s as you avoid being caught by humans.
You might spot some other rats hiding amidst the food.

Will you be writing a review of the ride?
Can’t wait – I get there the night of the 25th and will head to Epcot then and later in the week. This DVC member can’t get to the ride before then since she’s stuck in CO until the trip happens. Been looking forward to Ratatouille since I’ve never been to DL Paris & likely won’t be able to go for at least another couple of years.
So what are the chances some of “regular folk” can sweet talk one of the cast members to letting us on when we head there this weekend?
Zero
Challenge accepted Tom… you haven’t seen how cute my kids are.
