Distribution Times Announced for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure Virtual Queue

As we learned a week ago with the announcement of Disney Genie and Genie+, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will utilize a virtual queue system when it opens on October 1. We now know more details about the virtual queue system.

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure boarding groups will be available at 7:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. via the My Disney Experience app. Guests can enter the virtual queue once per day and must have valid park admission and an EPCOT Park Pass. Like Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will have a limited amount of boarding groups, and they will likely run out quickly.

The attraction may also have a Lightning Lane entrance, which guests will be able to purchase access to with Disney Genie, but this has not been confirmed. There will not be a standby queue.

  1. Disney didn’t want to pay anyone in IT to re-program the system to reflect the later operating hours of Epcot did they?

  2. It seems like a 5 minute attraction with higher capacity? , would this mean better chance at getting in the vq unlike rotr?

  3. I don’t believe this ride will need a boarding group for long. It’s no RotR, just a rehash from another Disney Park.

    • I think this is more about testing to bring more rides onto the boarding group system not whether is needs it or not.

  4. this is so great. another ride where you have to get up at 5 am on your supposed smart phone at the most magical place on earth to have any chance to get on the ride. whoopee!!!!!!!!!! between this and paid for fastpasses, would it not be easier to just go back to abcde tickets instead? at least you only paid for them with admission and knew how many times or rides you could go on for each classification. disney is taking what is supposed to be a relaxing magical vacation and turning it into another day at work. with them as the hated boss.

  5. Guess they do not care this is top security complaint virtual queues! DaS does not work you wait twice! And and genie is here so we have “flexiblity” waiting all day for virtual queues!
