PHOTOS: Biometric Finger Scanning Resumes at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Biometric finger scanning has resumed at the entrances to EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and now Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

The finger scanners were covered and out of use for over a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Guests must now tap their ticket, MagicBand, or phone on the Mickey scanner and then place their finger on the biometric scanner in order to enter.

  1. Those finger scanners after years of fingers look pretty nasty. Definitely bring a little hand sanitizer for after you use it, and that was a best practice pre Covid.
