Recently we have seen a lot of progress being made on TRON Lightcycle/Run at Magic Kingdom with the removal of construction material. Today we may be seeing some light at the end of the tunnel as testing with the train envelope begins.

An envelope is a contraption that gets sent along the track of a ride to test the ride’s safety. The wide outer rim of the envelope checks the ride’s clearance. This is to ensure guests don’t bump into anything while they are on board the ride.

Testing a ride with an envelope usually means that construction is nearing its later phases.

What do you think? Will we be able to ride our own lightcycle soon?
