RUMOR: ‘Let the Magic Begin’ Welcome Show Returning to Magic Kingdom for 50th Anniversary

The “Let the Magic Begin” welcome show appears to be returning to Magic Kingdom for the park’s 50th anniversary.

The show usually takes place on the Cinderella Castle stage, five minutes before the park officially opens. The Walt Disney World website currently shows performance times starting October 1. The times are listed as p.m., though we would guess this is an error, and the times should be a.m.

  1. I hope it’s the same performance that had the song Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah in it! Save Splash Mountain!! Please sign the petition on change.org to keep Splash Mountain as it is in Disneyland and in the Magic Kingdom! The Disney Executives should expand the parks and add a princess and the frog attraction!!
