We’ve been keeping an eye on the Frontierland railroad station as it is refurbished ahead of Magic Kingdom’s 50th anniversary next week. Most of the front of the station has now been restained or repainted for a fresher look.
The entire front and sides of the station were painted a fresh coat of red.
The boxes sticking out of the front, as well as the shutters on the righthand window, have now been stained a dark brown.
It seems likely that the wooden trim around the walls and roofing will also be stained a darker color soon.
Unfortunately, the Walt Disney World Railroad will not be running for the park’s 50th anniversary on October 1.
