The excitement for Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary continues to build as the Fab 50 Character Collection makes its debut on Hollywood Boulevard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. As of today, seven statues were installed today including Edna Mode, R2-D2, Woody and Bo Peep, and more.
The new arrivals can be found in the planters around the hub in front of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway.

Joe Gardner
Sebastian and Flounder
Woody and Bo Peep
R2-D2 and BB-8
With the installation of these statues, all four parks at the Walt Disney World resort now have Fab 50 Characters. The other members of the Fab 50 can be seen at the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. You can see the full list of the Fab 50 Character Collection statues right here.

Compared to their original concept pictures , these “gold” statues in actuality look more like bronze statues, maybe in their quest for finding cheap contractors Walt Disney Company got ripped off.
R2-D2 looks pretty cool. Not sure what that ‘soccer ball with a hat’ is next to him, but ok.
