Halloween Horror Nights 30 has officially begun at Universal Studios Florida, with ten haunted houses, two shows, and five scare zones. Let’s take a look at the Seek and Destroy scare zone, an original concept for this year’s event.
Seek and Destroy

This is probably the tamest Scare Zone, aside from a few chainsaws. It is pretty themed, with the Controller character on the screen above the stage talking, which helps explain the storyline of this area.

The Controller, and his army of aliens, have taken over and are ever watchful over the surviving humans. You have two choices: submit to the Controller, or be turned into fuel to power his regime.

You can actually interact with the Controller. On one visit, we walked up to the stage and the giant Controller animation on the screen spoke to us and made us kneel before him.

The many sentinels of the Controller roam the streets.

We happened to catch a shift change, which offered a fairly intimidating march as the guards took to the streets.

To the right, a victim is turned to fuel for the alien invaders.

While it’s not particularly scary, you can really have a lot of fun in this Scare Zone.
