Shanghai Disney Resort Closed September 13 & 14 Due to Typhoon Chanthu

Shanghai Disney Resort has issued a notice to guests that the resort will be closed on September 13 & 14 due to Typhoon Chanthu.

Guests who purchased tickets for either of the two days will be able to use their park ticket any other day within six months. Tickets for September 13 can be used until March 13, and tickets for September 14 can be used until March 14. Guests will need the original Government Identity Card or Travel Document that was used to purchase the tickets. No reservation will be required to use these tickets within those dates.

Guests can also opt for a refund instead. Refunds can be requested through the resort’s official app or the original purchase channel. Refund requests must be made within 45 days.

Guests with a Disney Premier Tour Service, Disney Concierge Service, Early Park Entry Pass, or other dated products and services for the closed dates will be given an automatic refund through the original purchase channel.

The resort hotels will operate as usual.
