Lightning Lane Still Allows a Grace Period for Early and Late Arrivals at Walt Disney World

As with FastPass+ and paper FastPass before it, Lightning Lane carries on the tradition of allowing a grace period for early and late arrivals.

Lightning Lane, like its predecessors, gives guests a one-hour window to arrive at the attraction entrance. Upon arrival, tap your ticket media or MagicBand to the Mickey tapstile to check-in for your Lightning Lane access. If you arrive up to 5 minutes early or 15 minutes late, Mickey will still turn green, and you will be granted admittance.

Lightning Lane utilizes the FastPass+ technology, so seeing the grace period return is not a surprise (though Disney certainly could have removed it).

Please note that, as always, the Cast Members have the final say on permitting entry as the grace period is not an official policy.
