For the first time since 2019, the Halloween golf cart parade was back at Disney’s Fort Wilderness resort. The popular parade was canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Fort Wilderness hosts similar golf cart parades for the Fourth of July and Christmas. The Halloween version typically brings out the spookiest golf cart “floats.” Many of the designs are an homage to classic Disney attractions and films like the PeopleMover, “Moana,” “Toy Story,” Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and many more.
Take a look at some of our favorite golf carts from this year’s Halloween parade:
The cart was one of the first “floats.” It features a sign recognizing the 50th anniversary of Disney’s Fort Wilderness resort.
The “CamperMover” float would fit right in at Tomorrowland.
Moana & Maui are sailing across the sea to find the heart of Te Fiti in this golf cart.
Woody is driving this Pizza Planet delivery cart straight out of “Toy Story.”
Check out this cart that looks like a Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance ride vehicle escaped from Galaxy’s Edge.
It looks like Sully was a victim of a code “2319” as Child Detection Agents drive this cart.
The Knight Bus from “Harry Potter” even made an appearance.
It looks like the Hitchhiking Ghosts from Haunted Mansion may have found a ride in this float.
Dumbo, dressed as Captain America, is about to take flight on this cart.
This float is designed to look like the Fort Wilderness MagicBand box. The riders are wearing shirts designed to look like MagicBands.
The float even includes the MagicBand price sticker on the back.
The Disney Fantasy cruise ship left the sea for an appearance at the golf cart parade.
“Harry Potter” wasn’t the only Universal property making an appearance. This “Jurassic Park” float was even being chased by a T Rex.
This float was filled with nods to Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
This float took the opportunity to wish parade goers a “Merry Thanksgivoween.”
Mickey and Minnie are riding atop this Moana themed float driven by Maui.
Tow Mater from “Cars” made an appearance at the parade.
The Kakamora are out to get Moana and Maui in this float.
Nemo and friends found their way out of the ocean to appear in the parade.
The pirates also found their way into the parade from the Caribbean.
This “Up” themed float was nearly carried away by balloons.
Check out Jack, Sally, and Zero riding above this “Nightmare Before Christmas” float.
Ariel, Sebastian, and King Triton hitched a ride aboard this “The Little Mermaid” designed golf cart.
Even Bing Bong from “Inside Out” also made an appearance.
