REVIEW: 50th Tart from The Market at Ale & Compass in Disney’s Yacht Club Resort

Special 50th anniversary treats are rolling out all across Walt Disney World as part of the 18-month long celebrations. After a beautiful morning at EPCOT, we visited the nearby Disney’s Yacht Club Resort to try the 50th Tart from the Market at Ale & Compass.

The birthday cake mousse is delicious and pairs perfectly with the chocolate mousse. However, the buttercream frosting is a little much. It’s mostly decorative but just too sweet. The tart shell is a little soft but has great flavor and somewhat cuts through the sweetness, but altogether, it was too much. We would not order this again as there are much better options for a celebratory treat.
