REVIEW: If You Had Wings from the Lunching Pad Brings Retired Attraction to New Heights for 50th Anniversary of the Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom is celebrating its 50th anniversary in style with many homages to retired attractions. Over at the Lunching Pad in Tomorrowland, relive If You Had Wings with a delicious dish of the same name.

If You Had Wings are like the attraction — classic and excellent, with a short wait time.

They have the perfect amount of jerk spice — sometimes this gets used in excess, or just for a hint of seasoning, but Lunching Pad got the perfect balance of giving the chicken strips some kick but without burning your mouth.

If You Had Wings was open at the Magic Kingdom from 1972 until 1989, when it became Delta Dreamflight. Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin is the current resident of the old building and utilizes the same omnimover track as the original ride.

The chicken itself wasn’t anything groundbreaking, but it was fried well and fresh enough as to still be juicy. Don’t miss out on this dish!
