Looking for more 50th Anniversary treats to try? In addition to the parks, they’re also available at the resorts as well. You can find this matching cupcake and macaron at Disney’s Old Key West Resort.
50th Celebration Cupcake – $5.99
The base of this cupcake is the classic Disney vanilla that we all know and love, along with the blue buttercream icing.
There is a generous serving of mousse on top of the cupcake, which is a super pleasant change of pace. The texture and taste remind us a lot of the 50th Anniversary Mousse Dome Cake that we tried over at Creature Comforts in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but not as sweet.
In the center was a white chocolate ball filled with EARidescent sprinkles.
The filling inside the cupcake was also a knockout! The blackberry and lime mixed super well. The blackberry is a little stronger than the lime, but you can taste them both.
Overall, this was a great treat that we would recommend.
50th Celebration Macaron – $6.99
This macaron was simple but delicious! It is advertised as a blueberry lemon treat.
The lemon wasn’t very prominent, and we couldn’t taste the blueberry at all. But this didn’t stop it from still being a great-tasting macaron!
It was sweet with a slight tinge of lemon and lots of flavor to offer for the small size. The colors and design make it an adorable 50th treat.
