The 50th anniversary treats available at Disney’s Hollywood Studios are all about “glimmer and shimmer.” At Backlot Express, we picked up the Glimmer and Shimmer Blondie, which is also available at Fairfax Fare.

Glimmer and Shimmer Blondie – $4.49

Gooey toffee and toasted coconut blondie with salted caramel buttercream and festive gold nuggets

This is a very sweet treat, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

The 50th medallion and “gold nuggets” are made of chocolate.

In the right light, the medallion really does shimmer.

You can taste the coconut throughout, and the salted caramel buttercream pairs perfectly with the blondie.

If you pick up this treat, make sure to bring some water to balance out the rich taste.
