The villainous Scar cupcake has returned to Disney’s Animal Kingdom for the 2021 Halloween season. This cupcake is now available at Creature Comforts and Flame Tree Barbecue through November 4.

While the edible icing Scar and white chocolate flames make for a cool effect on the top of the cupcake, they are a little too sweet for our taste.

We like the chocolate marshmallow frosting. It’s a nice touch to the cupcake. The chocolate pebbles are crunchy and add a more interesting texture to the snack.

Unfortunately, the red velvet cake and toasted marshmallow filling doesn’t have enough flavor to balance the sugary toppings. It might be a fine treat for anyone with a sweet tooth, but we find it a bit too overwhelming.
