UPDATE: IATSE Local 631 President Confirms Walt Disney World Cast Members Will Not Be Participating in Strike

Following the news that TV and film production members of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees had voted yes to going on strike, President of IATSE Local 631 Paul Cox confirmed that the strike will not involve Walt Disney World Cast Members.

The strike vote is regarding the Hollywood Basics Agreement and the Area Standards Agreement that do not affect the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Agreement.

IATSE Local 631 represents approximately 2,000 Cast Members.

  1. The union needs to be helping them get back to work a 7-14 hour wait time for customer service is crazy. As customers that travel to Disney multiple times a year we are not happy with it and ready to start traveling to other destinations
