Will Poulter to Play Adam Warlock in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’

According to Deadline, Will Poulter will be portraying Adam Warlock in “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.”

Adam Warlock, also known as simply Him or Adam, first appeared in Marvel comics in 1967. The character was teased in a mid-credits scene of “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” when Ayesha (Elizabeth Debicki) revealed the cocoon in which she was creating Adam.

Poulter first reached stardom with his role of Eustace Scrubb in “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.” Since then, he has appeared in “The Maze Runner” series, “The Revenant,” and “Detroit.” He’ll be appearing in Hulu miniseries “Dopesick,” which premieres this week.

James Gunn is returning to direct “Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3.” Production is scheduled to begin in November, with the film releasing May 5, 2023.
